Visual marketers beware

What gets me irate when clothes shopping?

I have always loved to shop.  I am a marketers dream. I have so many clothes my cupboard is spilling out of the seams (don't tell my husband).

I love walking into a shop like Zara, Massimo Dutti and H&M, drooling over the new seasons clothes - it gets my blood pumping and I just can't leave without spending. Just as intended by visual markets right? They will have done their job.

However, what I don't like is the poor treatment of some the clothes.

Why can't the clothes be steamed instead of all crumpled like they have just been pulled out of a laundry basket?

Why can't there be some space on the racks so clothes don't fall on the floor? Why can't long beautiful dresses be hung high so they aren't lying over a dirty shop floor?

Consumers are paying good money for this.  

So please Visual Merchandisers - finish the marketing job and show some respect to the dress!
