Community-Led Political Campaign (2024–25)
Role: Marketing & Communications Manager
Overview
In just five months, we built a political movement from scratch. Francine for Fairfax was a community-backed, independent campaign for the federal seat of Fairfax on the Sunshine Coast. My role as Marketing & Communications Manager was to create and lead the campaign’s entire public-facing presence, from digital strategy, print materials, TV, print and radio advertising, media relations, fundraising, and volunteer engagement.

Why It Matters
This campaign demonstrated what’s possible when communication is values-driven, community-first, and genuinely participatory. We didn’t just run a candidate, we mobilised a movement.
- 12.3% First Preference Vote in a traditionally safe Liberal seat
- Over 1,200 Supporters and Volunteers engaged across the electorate
- $300,000+ Raised through donations
- 250+ Volunteers activated, trained, and coordinated
- Dozens of Events including banner waves, market stalls, meet-the-candidate sessions, and policy forums
Marketing & Communications Deliverables
- Established and managed all digital channels: Meta, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), TikTok, YouTube,
- Managed CRM through NationBuilder
- Designed and implemented a content calendar across platforms
- Coordinated outdoor, print, radio, tv and digital advertising
- Authored all major campaign materials: social posts, flyers, emails, media releases, and video scripts
- Ran targeted digital advertising and coordinated print collateral from concept to distribution
- Built a recognisable, trustworthy brand in line with compliance (AEC authorisations, risk protocols)
- Led reputation management during public debates and media scrutiny
- Designed and executed fundraising appeals, including EDM campaigns, donor stewardship, and social campaigns
- Created internal processes, style guides and briefing documents for a decentralised team of volunteers

Foundation Fitness and Wellbeing, Caloundra
Role: Marketing Consultant
Location: Sunshine Coast, QLD
Overview
Foundation Fitness and Wellbeing is a boutique health and wellness centre in Caloundra. I collaborated closely with the owner to establish a digital presence and cohesive brand identity that resonates with their community-focused ethos.
Key Outcomes
This project exemplifies the power of integrated marketing strategies in building a strong brand presence and fostering community engagement in the health and wellness sector. Having an online presence, especially with Google Business sees the business found in new ways rather than rely on just social media.

- Implemented a content strategy encompassing blogs, newsletters, and social media posts.
- Created sales landing pages and integrated PT Minder data for targeted marketing campaigns.
- Designed and managed the website, ensuring user-friendly navigation and mobile compatibility.
- Crafted engaging blog content and newsletters to inform and retain clients.
- Planned and executed social media strategies using Canva and Meta Business Suite.
- Established Google Business account for the business to be found in search.
- Promoted trainers, wellness programs, gym schedules, and events through various channels.
