Francine for Fairfax
Community-Led Political Campaign (2024–25)

Role: Marketing & Communications Manager
Overview
In just five months, we built a political movement from scratch. Francine for Fairfax was a community-backed, independent campaign for the federal seat of Fairfax on the Sunshine Coast. My role as Marketing & Communications Manager was to create and lead the campaign’s entire public-facing presence, from digital strategy, print materials, TV, print and radio advertising,  media relations, fundraising, and volunteer engagement.
Key Outcomes
  • 12.3% First Preference Vote in a traditionally safe Liberal seat
  • Over 1,200 Supporters and Volunteers engaged across the electorate
  • $300,000+ Raised through donations
  • 250+ Volunteers activated, trained, and coordinated
  • Dozens of Events including banner waves, market stalls, meet-the-candidate sessions, and policy forums

Marketing & Communications Deliverables
  • Established and managed all digital channels: Meta, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), TikTok, YouTube,
  • Managed CRM through NationBuilder
  • Designed and implemented a content calendar across platforms
  • Coordinated outdoor, print, radio, tv and digital advertising
  • Authored all major campaign materials: social posts, flyers, emails, media releases, and video scripts
  • Ran targeted digital advertising and coordinated print collateral from concept to distribution
  • Built a recognisable, trustworthy brand in line with compliance (AEC authorisations, risk protocols)
  • Led reputation management during public debates and media scrutiny
  • Designed and executed fundraising appeals, including EDM campaigns, donor stewardship, and social campaigns
  • Created internal processes, style guides and briefing documents for a decentralised team of volunteers

Why It Matters
This campaign demonstrated what’s possible when communication is values-driven, community-first, and genuinely participatory. We didn’t just run a candidate, we mobilised a movement.

Foundation Fitness and Wellbeing, Caloundra
Role: Marketing Consultant 
Location: Sunshine Coast, QLD

Overview

Foundation Fitness and Wellbeing is a boutique health and wellness centre in Caloundra. I collaborated closely with the owner to establish a digital presence and cohesive brand identity that resonates with their community-focused ethos.
Key Outcomes
  • Launched a mobile-responsive, SEO-optimized website to enhance online visibility.
  • Developed comprehensive branding collateral, including logos, signage, and promotional materials.
  • Implemented a content strategy encompassing blogs, newsletters, and social media posts.
  • Created sales landing pages and integrated PT Minder data for targeted marketing campaigns.

  • Designed and managed the website, ensuring user-friendly navigation and mobile compatibility.
  • Crafted engaging blog content and newsletters to inform and retain clients.
  • Planned and executed social media strategies using Canva and Meta Business Suite.
  • Established Google Business account for the business to be found in search.
  • Promoted trainers, wellness programs, gym schedules, and events through various channels.
Why It Matters
This project exemplifies the power of integrated marketing strategies in building a strong brand presence and fostering community engagement in the health and wellness sector. Having an online presence, especially with Google Business sees the business found in new ways rather than rely on just social media.

Chancellor State College
Role: Acting Marketing & Events Officer
Location: Sunshine Coast, QLD

Overview
Chancellor State College is a large, high-performing public school with both primary and secondary campuses. I was brought in to manage the college’s communications and marketing efforts during a period of growth and increasing public visibility. Working across both campuses, I ensured a consistent and professional public presence that reflected the college’s values, achievements, and diverse community.
Key Outcomes
  • Strengthened the school’s brand identity through cohesive messaging across digital and print materials
  • Supported school enrolment strategies with timely and targeted communications
  • Delivered marketing and promotional support for school events, award nights, and open days
  • Improved engagement with parents and the wider school community through EDM newsletters and content planning

A strong school brand is about more than logos, it’s about trust, clarity, and consistency. This work helped Chancellor State College strengthen its connection with families and the community, while showcasing its achievements with pride.

Maleny Additions
Role: Marketing Consultant

Maleny Additions is a charming gift shop located in the heart of Maleny. I partnered with the new owners to revitalize their brand and expand their reach through strategic digital marketing initiatives.

  • Established a vibrant social media presence on Instagram and Facebook.
  • Developed engaging content, including posts and reels, to showcase products and local attractions.
  • Built landing pages for their Shopify site to streamline online shopping experiences.
  • Promoted the new ownership and highlighted the unique offerings of the Maleny and Hinterland region.

Role: Digital Marketing Manager

​YALLA Family Guide is a premier platform publication and digital platform providing weekly updates on events and news around Abu Dhabi. I played a pivotal role in enhancing their digital outreach and audience engagement through comprehensive content management and promotional strategies.

  • Managed and updated website content to ensure timely and relevant information.
  • Promoted weekly events and news through social media channels, increasing follower engagement.
  • Coordinated advertising promotions to support local businesses and events.

Overview

I devised and executed a comprehensive sales marketing strategy to boost visibility and attract potential members to promote their pre-sale effectively with over 150 memberships sold prior to the gym officially opening.
Key Outcomes
  • Developed a targeted marketing strategy to highlight membership benefits.
  • Established and managed social media accounts on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Ran promotional campaigns across social media platforms to generate interest.
  • Organized media giveaways and secured sponsorships at prominent events, including the Australian New Zealand Ball.
